The terms, in plain words
- Prices are in CAD.
- 12-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days' notice.
- Your price is locked for your 12-month term. After that, if prices go up, the new price starts from your next monthly billing cycle.
- If you leave before the 12 months are up, the remaining monthly payments are still due.
- I host your site unless you'd rather use your own hosting.
- If you leave, your website and domain are handed over to you at no charge.
- Small monthly changes are included: 1, 3 or 6 updates a month on Launch, Grow and Pro. An update is a small change, like new hours, a price or a photo.
- Domain registration is billed at cost (about $20 a year).
Questions
Do I own the website?
Yes. Your domain, content, photos and branding are yours. I host the site as part of your plan, or you can use your own hosting if you'd rather. If you ever leave, I hand over your website and domain, including your content and site files, at no charge.
Can I cancel?
After the 12-month minimum, yes, any time with 30 days' notice. If you leave before the 12 months are up, the remaining monthly payments are still due. Either way, your website and domain are handed over to you with no handover fee.
Can the price change?
Not during your 12-month term. Your price is locked. After that, if prices go up, the new price starts from your next monthly billing cycle.
